Yves Saint Laurent is the French fashion house founded by Yves Saint Laurent.

His career as a designer started very young, being 21 years old was named head of the House of Dior after the death of Christian Dior. Because Wars and after a period away from fashion Yves Saint Laurent founded his own fashion company and became one of the most influential fashion designers of the 1960s and 1970s.

Laurent became known for his exquisitely-tailored women's suits.

Yves Saint Laurent has created perfumes and cosmetics for decades. The first fragrance of the house was "Y", for women, and was released in 1964. Different scents throughout history have become classics like Rive Gauche in 1970, Opium in 1977 and Paris in 1983.
