Perfume of cult imagined by Marcel Rochas for his wife Hélène, Femme is a tribute of the great couturier to the feminine absolute. Its chypre-fruity-spiced accord of sensual and voluptuous wake makes it the quintessence of feminine seduction.
Hymn to femininity and love, the fragrance of Femme distills its charms with voluptuousness and seduction, thanks to the originality of a fruity spiced cyprus accord in which the velvet of the plum, used for the first time in perfumery, brings an extreme sensuality.
A seductive wake that runs through the skin with a mysterious feeling linked to the woody presence of sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver, to which the absolute rose, ylang-ylang and jasmine bring even more feminine embarrassment. A carnal opulence tinged with the vivacity of lemon, neroli and bergamot, citrus and tempting notes that season the fragrance with a touch of spices: cumin, cinnamon and cloves.
It was one of the first works of the great Edmund Roudnitska, and ensured the success of Rochas house. It was created in 1944 and used a wonderful and powerful base. He pushed the fruit note to the extreme with the addition of peach, added an overdose of oakmoss and patchouli, and also a huge bouquet of aldehydic flowers. This led to an explosion of fragrance not known before in terms of volume and diffusion.
The flacon was designed in 1945 by Marcel Rochas.
