The Moon and Endymion, a love story...

Greek mythology tells that the Goddess of the Moon plunged Endymion, the most handsome of the sons of Zeus, into a perpetual sleep so that only she could observe him...

The Moon Goddess gives her blessing to the forbidden. She also likes to bathe at night, illuminated by her own opalescent light that she dances. A light that she needs and that she yearns all day for the night to return. To shine again.

This beautiful story seen through the eyes of Penhaligon's leads us to discover two delicious olfactory interpretations.

LUNA

Brilliant at first thanks to bergamot oil and primofiore lemon, it soon reaches a dreamlike tranquility through the accords of jasmine, juniper and rose. The harmony is complete when musks and ambergris cast a spell on Endymion's perpetual torpor.

ENDYMION

Rich resins and creamy nutmeg and cardamom compose a velvety backdrop against which the dark seduction of coffee stands out, finished off by the moonlit freshness of mandarin orange, clary sage and lavender.

You may notice that the bottle label features just above Endymion's crown the symbol of the Moon...
