CHANEL launched its first fragrance in 1921. The iconic Nº5. A fragrance that combined Ernest Baux's mastery of fragrance creation, with the character and vision that she imprinted on everything she did with Gabrielle Chanel. In this way Chanel as a haute couture house was introduced to the world of perfumery. Since then the House has created a wide collection of fragrances. Here we want to point out fragrances that are historical references and that we can continue enjoying today, even though they were created many years ago. Beginning with the Nº5 of 1921, they are followed by Nº22 of 1922, Gardénia of 1925, Bois desiles of 1926 and Cuir de Russie of 1927. In this selection the versions of the Extracts are represented, however originally the fragrances were conceived with other concentrations. It should be noted that when Chanel creates fragrances of different concentrations, it also slightly changes the composition of the same so that the experience in each case is familiar but subtly different.
